By bike or on foot, discover the Parc Naturel Régional de la Brière

A protected area since 1970, La Brière is far from the seaside effervescence of La Baule and the bustle of Guérande. It is one of the oldest French regional parks where peace and quiet are combined. From Saint-Molf in the west to Prinquiau in the east, it extends over the Brière marshes, northwest of the Loire estuary in Loire-Atlantique.

On foot or by bike, the various hiking trails will delight lovers of beautiful walks in the middle of nature. Several stops in the different villages that make up this natural territory will also allow you to visit its museums, its castles, the traditional site of the village of Kerhinet, its menhirs and other curiosities present within the park.

A boat trip to discover the marsh

On board a barge or in a horse-drawn carriage, you will be able to sail or stroll through the 50,000 hectares of the Briere Park and discover the charm of the fauna and flora of the Guérande peninsula. Several piers allow you to enjoy a pleasant boat ride. Saint-Lyphard, Saint-André-des-Eaux, Saint-Joachim, it’s up to you to choose the most suitable one for your discovery of the park.
