The nearest Loire-Atlantique beaches
Located 5 km from Camping Paradis l’Île de Kernodet, the Bole de Merquel beach is a haven of peace and remarkable biodiversity. This sensitive natural area attracts locals and holidaymakers alike for its preserved and varied landscapes between beach, dunes and marshes.
The nearby Sorlock beach is also well worth a visit. This large stretch of sand has several zones, and the southern part is ideal for swimming and sailing (there’s a sailing center, a safety post and a kids’ club).
The northern part of the beach features a number of rocks and small coves. To the south of Pointe de Merquel, discover Lanséria beach. This long stretch of fine sand is supervised in summer. What’s more, at low tide, it’s a popular spot for shore fishing enthusiasts. All these beautiful beaches in Loire-Atlantique are less than 6 kilometers from your camping vacation rental.

The commune of La Turballe, a 10-minute drive from the campsite, offers seven sandy beaches. To the south of the resort, the family-friendly beaches of Les Bretons, Grande Falaise and Pen Bron stretch for several kilometers. To the north, Ker Elisabeth and Port Creux are home to small coves that open up at low tide.
Then head for Assérac, 10 kilometers from the campsite, to discover the beach of the Baie de Pont-Mahé, nicknamed “the little Mediterranean” because of its water temperature, which in summer can exceed 25 degrees. What’s more, this beach, located on a Natura 2000 site, attracts families for its gentle slope, shallow waters and supervised bathing during the summer season. Finally, still in Assérac, the Baie de Pen Bé beach invites you to take a stroll along the coastal path through the oyster farms.
